I just received the Icemania pants so I can’t discuss their performance. I do like the fit of the pants., which are athletic and not baggy. I am 5’7” and 154 lbs..typically a 32/30 pant. I ordered Medium/Short and have plenty of waist room and the length comes down to the bottom of my heel which is what I want. I don’t want pants that will drag on the ground when walking through the parking lots etc. I work as a resort host and my ski pants take a beating going up and down stairs and through sand in the parking lots. Dragging pants get destroyed. These should hang just right when my ski boots come off.The material has some elasticity to it but not as much as Salomon describes. A good Velcro waist adjustment. Enough insulation for my preference during winter but not a spring pant for me. Vents seem adequate. The bottom is well protected for wear but lacks side zips or snaps down by the boot. You have to pant up and then boot up and pull the leg and gaiter down over the boot. I missed this in the photo detail. I prefer full leg zips but expected at least some side opening down by the boot in the shell layer and gaiter. I couldn’t find a single online review of this pant and the Salomon site provided very little additional data.These are extremely comfortable with great elasticity so there's no stiffness at all. Salomon just truly makes excellent products all around and their designs are always top notch. These pants are no exception. I went to a very large local ski shop here in Colorado and must've tried every single brand of ski pant out there with no concern for price. I just wanted the best looking and most comfortable. There were certainly more expensive brands out there but ultimately I chose these Salomon's over every brand. Having tried on a couple of other Salomon pants and coats I've pretty much decided that Salomon might just be the brand I stick with for my outer wear moving forward.Qualität kostet nun mal mehr Geld aber bei der Marke lohnt es sich alle mal. Bin sehr zufrieden nach einigen Skiausflügen.Très bonne coupe, fit parfait, longueur idéale, c'est le pantalon de ski que je recherchais.Un paire de bretelles aurait été un plus, pour un maintien optimal du pantalon.Bonne isolation, testé en février sans soucis. Il y a également 2 ventilations, une
