My son is 6 years old with a sturdy, tall frame. He is in kindergarten, but people often mistake him for a 2nd or 3rd grader. We ordered him a youth medium size in these pants and they fit perfectly. They are long pants, not knee length and the ankle fits snugly. If you have a kid with very stocky legs, the leg might fit too tightly. But we are very happy with this purchase. Good price and good fit! We will see how they hold up through his first T-Ball season!
